We are very proud to announce that Beta Rho has been presented several awards from Nationals this semester. Among these awards are the Gallaher Cup for having the highest GPA of all Sigma Nu chapters in the country (for the second year in a row), and an "Increase in Manpower" award for increasing the size of the brotherhood by at least 25%. The brotherhood is also more involved than ever around campus. We currently have the highest representation of any group on campus on the Undergraduate Assembly, a branch of student government, with five brothers. We also hold prominent positions on the Nominations and Elections Committee, the International Affairs Association, and Class Board. Additionally we have brothers participating in several of the club sports teams at Penn, from club sailing to sprint football.

At the house, several brothers came back to school a few days early to begin work on some needed improvements. The basement is now completely floored with resilient vinyl plank flooring, thanks to funding from the Property Company and hard work from the brotherhood. Additionally, the brotherhood spearheaded the installation of new black lights around the perimeter of the basement. All of the house improvements have us a nicer venue to meet new freshmen and potential rushes.

We are also in the process of planning our annual LEAD camping trip.
