4 Reasons to Come back for HomecomingPlanning to come back for Homecoming on November 6 – 8? Philly is a vibrant city, full of options for food, fun, and entertainment. It's one of the best places to be and to visit, especially on Homecoming weekend when school spirit is at its highest. Check out these 4 reasons to come back. Use the comment box to let us know why you'll be back for homecoming and don't forget to share your photos from past homecoming weekends!

1)      It’s a chance to stir up some memories. As a new class of Penn students begin their fall semesters, memories are conjured up of our time at Penn and at Beta Rho:

Sweet, juicy fruit from University Square Farmers’ Market, Breaks on the lawn between classes with your brothers, Strolling down Locust Walk, you name it.

2)      You can cheer on the Quakers as they take on Princeton (Noon kickoff). Enjoy the cooler weather, some tailgating, and the homecoming game with your family or your brothers.

3)      You can check out some of the best new restaurants located near Penn. Here’s a few of the top picks out there:

Garage
2.4 miles from the university
This unique eatery features different food trucks each day in rotation. Enjoy fare from the food truck of the day, cold beer, and a few games of pool and Skee Ball.

Good Stuff Eatery
1.4 miles from the university
Chow down on some classic American food from Top Chef alum Spike Mendelsohn including burgers, slim cut fries, chili, milkshakes, and more.

Flat Iron
5.5 miles from the university
Not only do they serve $5 wings during games, but they make a burger served on a mac & cheese bun. Now that’s innovative.
